Broadway Bound at ReFlex Arts
Broadway Bound is thrilled to bring its musical theater program to ReFlex Arts. This highly acclaimed theater program, founded in Las Vegas by Jolie Rand in 2007, introduced hundreds of children to the art of performing in both classes as well as full scale Broadway style productions. We look forward to implementing this successful program in Sarasota so the young people of the community can mine their talents and learn to sing, act and dance with professionalism while building confidence, self-esteem and a positive attitude.

From the moment I saw my first Broadway show at the tender age of 8, I knew what I was going to do for the rest of my life. I was bitten by the " Broadway Bug" that day and it has stayed with me since. Broadway is the one true passion in my life and Broadway Bound is my way of sharing that passion with the young and the "young at heart." In our training programs, which range from recreational classes to yearly productions, we learn the three basics of becoming what is known in the industry as a "triple threat:" Acting, Singing, and Dancing.
I built the Broadway Bound program to enrich our children in the arts. This program is about more than just learning to sing, dance, and act in its recreational classes. Broadway Bound also has a children’s theatre company that produces full scale Broadway productions. We are very proud to say that these productions consist of an all children cast. They learn about commitment, cooperation and compassion as they master the art of performing in a full scale Broadway style show. During the rehearsal process, these young actors discover important things about themselves and their ability to achieve lofty ambitions. It is thrilling to watch their confidence grow as they work together to reach a common goal. The pride of being in a show is evident amongst everyone on stage as you see the sparkle in their eyes and the bright smiles upon their faces.
This site has been created for those interested in learning more about Broadway Bound and how to get started, and for my existing students and parents without whom Broadway Bound would just be an idea. If you are new to Broadway Bound and you would like to learn more about the classes and how to get started, please visit the Classes & More section of this site.
For all my students and parents, thank you so much for helping me to bring my love of Broadway to your families and the communities you live in.
